A queer-affirming, trauma-informed therapy practice for individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, and the beautifully complex experience of being human.
Welcome. I'm so glad you found your way here. As a queer therapist, I bring both personal and professional understanding to the work we do together. I believe deeply that every person deserves care that sees and honors the fullness of who they are.
My practice is built on the principle that healing happens in relationship. I work collaboratively with you, drawing on evidence-based modalities while remaining attuned to your unique story, your nervous system, your community, and your culture.
Whether you're carrying the weight of trauma, moving through grief, wrestling with anxiety, or simply trying to understand yourself better — you don't have to navigate it alone.
I offer specialized support for a range of concerns, always within a framework that is affirming, culturally aware, and deeply respectful of your lived experience.
Healing from complex trauma, childhood wounds, relational trauma, and PTSD using evidence-based, body-aware approaches that work with your nervous system — not against it.
Understanding the roots of anxiety, panic, and chronic stress — and building practical, personalized tools to help you move through life with more ease and groundedness.
Navigating the profound experience of loss — including death, relationship endings, identity shifts, and the grief that comes with coming out or living outside the norm.
Exploring what lies beneath the weight of depression with compassion and curiosity, finding pathways toward meaning, connection, and a life that feels worth living.
Affirming support for LGBTQ+ individuals navigating identity, coming out, minority stress, family rejection, relationship dynamics, and the ongoing process of self-discovery.
Compassionate care for ADHD, autism, and other neurodivergent experiences — honoring how your brain works while addressing the unique challenges of a world not built for you.
I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, always choosing what fits your needs rather than fitting you into a box. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life.
You set the pace. We work together as partners in your healing journey.
Your brain is not broken. Therapy adapts to how you think and process — and helps you build the language and confidence to advocate for your unique needs in the world.
Your identity is valid. No explaining, no educating your therapist needed.
Your background, community, and cultural context are central, not peripheral.
My practice is explicitly and proudly affirming of queer, trans, nonbinary, intersex, and asexual/aromantic individuals. I understand minority stress, systemic trauma, and the specific ways that living in a world that wasn't built for you can affect your mental health.
I also warmly welcome neurodivergent adults — whether diagnosed or self-identified — who are navigating ADHD, autism, sensory differences, and the exhaustion of masking.
As a queer therapist, I don't just "accept" LGBTQ+ clients — I genuinely understand queer experience. You won't spend your sessions explaining your identity or relationship structure. We can go deeper, faster.
Flexible session formats. No judgment for fidgeting. Communication styles adapted to your needs.
Whether your loss is recent or years old, your grief is valid. We move at your pace.
Yes! I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Priority Health, and several Medicaid plans. If you have a different insurance plan, please reach out and we can discuss your options.
It's a 15–20 minute video or phone call. We get to know each other, you share what's bringing you to therapy, and we talk about whether working together feels like a good fit. No pressure, no commitment.
Yes — I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions via SimplePractice. This allows me to see clients throughout Michigan from the comfort of your home or wherever you feel safe.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions. As you progress, we may shift to biweekly. We'll always decide together what frequency makes the most sense for your goals and your life.
You're not alone in that. A lot of people — especially queer and neurodivergent folks — have been let down by therapy. We can talk about that directly and build something different, together.
My practice primarily focuses on individual adults (18+). I do occasionally work with couples — feel free to ask about availability. For family therapy, I'm happy to provide referrals to affirming providers in our community.
Reaching out is the hardest part. I offer a free 15-minute consultation — no commitment, no pressure. Just a conversation.
